At the very core of our operations, our global reach and comprehensive solutions, Heneways is a family. With offices spread across three continents, we are able to consistently show up in any timezone with unparalleled passion and commitment for what we do.
Fine details aside, we pride ourselves on being a global logistics company that cares, connects, and delivers. There is no doubt that our ability to do so all comes down to the people in our family. Long-tenured employees, Dané (16 years industry experience, 9 of which are with Heneways) and Cathy (24 years industry experience, 12 of which are with Heneways) shared why the company feels more like a "home away from home” rather than the intricately constructed global team it is.
With our eight official offices strategically positioned in Chicago, New York, London, Perugia, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town, we are well-situated to provide services to all corners of the globe. On top of our offices and the support facilities we have dotted around the US, we also work alongside a broad network of approximately 400 global logistics agents.
Where we lack a physical presence, these agents step in to bridge any gaps in our global connectivity. This agent network is something we are immensely grateful for and proud of, as it gives us the opportunity to build strong relationships throughout the world, while ensuring that every client receives the same high service standards that Heneways is known for.
We strive to operate directly with our clients if at all possible, but we know that when our agents need to step in for us, they step in as an extension of the Heneways family, and they deliver the same quality standards that we would ourselves.
Across every border and continental divides, there is an underlying character trait that can be found in every Heneways team member. Call it tenacity. Maybe dedication. It’s difficult to sum up in a word because no word can really do our team justice.
Each person is so deeply invested in their given role and associated responsibilities, but as anyone in the industry can attest to, there are never any two days alike in global logistics. Each day is like a surprise waiting to greet you, or as Forrest Gump might say, a box of chocolates. You truly never know what you might get, which is what keeps things exciting.
Given this unreliable nature of daily events, every team member has a multifaceted toolkit of skills. We each have insight into all aspects of the business at all times, because, as with any family, we all just want to feel involved.
As we inch closer to celebrating our 50th anniversary this year, the milestone alone paints a crystal clear picture of how our family-oriented culture is embedded into our company’s success. We could only have made it this far along our journey if we knew what we were doing. And we’d say we kinda know a thing or two about global logistics.
Looking towards the future, we know what is necessary to achieve what we’ve defined as success and we are out there in full force to make sure we achieve it.
